The nearly constant stream of creativity that has emerged in the past year has spurred untold levels of writing, reflection, and just simply LIVING AND ENJOYING life.  This page will be updated with news about my books and other projects I am working on.

On February 15, 2010, I announced that my latest work, a full-length book entitled Splinter of the Tree, debuted on my online Lulu.com storefront where a preview is also available.  Prior to its release, I posted this announcement on my Facebook page:  The finishing touches on my latest book, Splinter of the Tree, are done. I began it nearly seven years ago, and it was the catalyst for two of my recent works. Sometimes, the most beautiful masterpieces-human lives-spend a long time in the hands of the master carver, potter, and gardener, and they yield the most unexpected blooms.

Were it not for the life-transforming journey that began with my journey with a terminally ill friend, the groundwork for the life I now live and what I have since written, especially the eponymous work that inspired this blog, would not exist.
